The idea has taken off! What has long been a matter of course for today's movie and music consumption as well as for ordering pizza, Postbus is now also realizing in everyday mobility with the Postbus Shuttle: to be on the road safely, cheaply, uncomplicatedly and climate-friendly with a click.
In the three Upper Austrian communities of Luftenberg, Steyregg and St. Georgen an der Gusen, the Postbus Shuttle got off to a successful start a year ago, marking the entry into a completely new type of public, demand-oriented mobility. At a press briefing in Luftenberg, Upper Austria, Postbus took stock: after a successful first year of operation with high demand, Postbus' on-demand service is entering the next round. A new fare system, recognition of the KlimaTicket and additional stops with connections to Linz make the service even more attractive for local residents.
The next projects are already in the starting blocks; more and more Austrian municipalities are now following the trend of a flexible, innovative mobility solution that makes a significant contribution to climate protection.
